Lyrid meteor showers are caused when Earth passes through the dust trail created by comet Thatcher. The peak occurs on the night of Apr 22 - morning of Apr 23. The only issue is that the moon is in the gibbous phase and it will cut out the fainter meteors.
The meeting point is Mahuli uto Rickshaw ,,,village base around 5km from Asangaon Railway Station on the Mumbai Central Line, around 50km from Thane. You can come to Asangaon and then catch an Auto RIckshaw ...
